Assistant Loan Accounting Manager, full-time position located in the Administration North Office, Turlock, CA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:



The Assistant Loan Accounting Manager is responsible for leading the loan accounting team, developing individuals, managing work productivity, maintaining compliance with Association policies and ensuring adherence to internal controls. This position is responsible for providing both leadership and individual contribution to the loan accounting team that maintains all aspects of the loan accounting system. Responsibilities include the review of loan servicing, new loan bookings, refinances, renewals, re-amortizations, rate changes, payment processing, checks, receipts, journal entries, billing statements and transaction summaries. Identify, research, and propose solutions to questions, problems and issues related to loan accounting ensuring accurate resolution. Update and document task procedures, create reports and perform other data mining of loan system information. Assist the Assistant Vice President, Loan Accounting Manager with special projects and tasks on a periodic basis and other duties as assigned.







PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:



  • BA/BS degree in accounting, finance, business; or equivalent.

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in accounting; loan accounting experience highly desirable.

  • Previous management experience.

  • Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Must be advanced Excel user and proficient in Access or other database systems.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in organizing and prioritizing multiple activities.

  • Experience working with Jack Henry Core Director software a plus.

  • Must have exceptional oral and written communication skills and ability to work effectively with workgroups, management, and auditors demonstrating a focus on providing exceptional service.





    GRADE/SALARY/BENEFITS:



    Yosemite Farm Credit offers a competitive benefit package that includes, but is not limited to, outstanding vacation/sick time accrual, health, dental, and vision plans, tuition reimbursement, 401k fixed AND company match, corporate fitness program, performance related compensation, volunteer time off and paid holidays.







    The Base Salary for this position ranges from $6,700 (minimum) - $7,600 (maximum) per month, depending on experience. Position is also eligible to participate in annual incentive program (performance related compensation) earning up to 10% of annual base salary. This program is subject to Board approval.







    WORKPLACE FLEXIBILITY PROGRAM:



    Yosemite Farm Credit offers a Workplace Flexibility Program for qualifying positions that provides the opportunity to have a hybrid, in office and work from home, schedule. The Workplace Flexibility Program includes an allowance of up to $500 for qualifying expenses to outfit employees' home office.
