Job Description Job Description Carpenter Framer Location: North Sacramento Shift: 2pm-10pm Details: Carpentry , Framing, Journeyman level experience needed Job Description We are seeking a skilled Carpenter Framer to construct and assemble wall panels, floor systems, and roof structures using wood and other framing materials. This role requires precision, efficiency, and a strong understanding of framing techniques. Responsibilities Construct and assemble wall panels, floor systems, and roof structures using wood and other framing materials. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate layout and execution. Install framing components including studs, joists, rafters, and sheathing with precision and efficiency. Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively, maintaining a clean and organized work area. Collaborate with supervisors and other trades to meet project timelines and quality standards. Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and structural requirements. Essential Skills 3 years of framing experience in residential or modular construction. Strong understanding of framing techniques, materials, and structural principles. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Skilled in using framing tools such as nail guns, saws, levels, and measuring devices. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Additional Skills & Qualifications Journeyman level with at least 3 years of framing carpentry experience. Strong work ethic and commitment to safety and quality craftsmanship. Work Environment Work in a manufacturing construction setting with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 2pm to 10:30pm, with occasional half-day Saturdays. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
