Job Description Job Description Job Title: Maintenance Engineering Technician Job Description As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of industrial equipment and machinery. Your expertise will be essential in managing and repairing highly automated machines, including washers, dryers, sorters, conveyors, and folding machines. Your ability to read schematics and utilize high-level troubleshooting skills will be crucial to diagnose and address issues effectively and promptly. Responsibilities Perform maintenance and repair on industrial equipment to ensure functionality. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in machinery such as dryers, sorters, washers, and boilers. Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure the proper functioning of equipment. Repair equipment to minimize downtime and prevent future breakdowns. Utilize skills in pneumatics, plumbing, and PLC troubleshooting. Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics. Essential Skills Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulics. 4-6 years of industrial maintenance experience. 3 years of high-level mechanical/electrical troubleshooting experience. Ability to read electrical schematics. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with preventive maintenance and repair of industrial equipment. Understanding of pneumatics and plumbing systems. Work Environment The work environment is an industrial setting with a significant amount of equipment and machinery. Certain areas can be tight, and products may be staged in various locations. The environment is typically loud when all machines are in operation, with some areas, such as the steam and dryer sections, becoming hot. The machinery is large, requiring proper safety precautions. Additionally, there is overhead equipment used to transport products throughout the facility. One available shift is Tuesday-Saturday, 8 PM-4:30 AM, with training during either 12 AM or 9 AM start time for 2-4 weeks. Another shift is to be determined but will likely be an off shift. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Turlock, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $76960.00/yr.
