Job Description:
WeRide is a leading, commercial-stage global company that
develops autonomous driving technologies from Level 2 to Level 4.
It offers an all-rounded product mix of Robotaxi, Robobus,
Robosweeper, Robovan and Advanced Driving Solution to provide
services. WeRide aims to develop safe and reliable driverless
solutions to make our mobility and transportation safer, more
affordable, and accessible. The Drive-by-Wire (DBW) team focuses on
the development of electronic and electro-mechanical systems that
replace traditional mechanical linkages in vehicle control
functions. Our mission is to ensure that vehicles accurately
receive and execute driving commands from higher-level systems,
enabling safe, reliable, and efficient vehicle operation. What
you’ll be doing: Develop drive-by-wire functions and software with
redundancy and diagnosis. Perform electrical and software
integration and introduction of drive-by-wire systems on new
autonomous vehicle platforms. Ensure reliable vehicle operation of
drive-by-wire actuators in all modes of operation across various
vehicle platforms. Troubleshoot, triage, and provide diagnostic
support for field issues related to the vehicle control system.
Qualifications: BS/MS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical
Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a
similar field Proficient in Embedded C, C++ is a must Strong
understanding of either of the following fields: 1.
Brake/steering/propulsion actuators of electric vehicles 2.
CAN/LIN/Ethernet communication protocol 3. Vehicle ECU embedded
development 4. CAN tools like CANalyzer/CANoe and capl script
Strong root-cause analysis for problem-solving Excellent
communication and cross-functional team collaboration abilities
Passion for innovation in the autonomous vehicle industry $40 - $45
