POSITION: AVP/VP, Special Assets Manager, full-time position located in Administration South Office, Turlock, CA. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: The Special Assets Manager is responsible for serving the Association's internal and external customers by leading and managing the Association's Special Assets department. This role will include administration on department credits as well as working with Branch Credit Staff to support Branch credits. The role will participate in Loan Committee, support training for Association employees on credit functions, be responsible for department audits, as well as lead the ongoing design and implementation of processes to provide exceptional service. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - BA/BS or the equivalent in experience. - At least ten years of banking/lending experience, including five years of supervisory experience. Previous Farm Credit experience preferred. - Thorough knowledge of agricultural lending, related policies and procedures. - Demonstrated knowledge of credit administration, financial analysis, credit analysis, credit risk assessment and budgeting. - Excellent verbal, written, analytical, persuasive, negotiating and interpersonal skills. - Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions within delegated authorities and time pressures. - Demonstrated planning and organizational skills. - Must have good computer skills and be proficient in Outlook, Excel and Word. GRADE/SALARY/BENEFITS: Depending on experience.   • Oversee the risk management function in systematically assessing and quantifying risk, and work with management to ensure that risks are managed in accordance with the organization's established risk
  • Monitor ongoing staff education and development in effective risk management
