Job Description:

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PACU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 4x10 (06:00 - 14:30) / 5x8 (09:30 - 18:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years as inpatient PACU RN and/or 2 years in an outpatient surgical setting License: Current RN Licensure Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS Must-Have: - Ability to work in pre-op, PACU, and post-op areas - Epic charting experience preferred Description: Responsible for the assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care. Includes direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care in an acute patient setting. Must be able to work with both adult and pediatric patients. No on-call or weekend shifts; modified shifts may require staying late if patients do not meet discharge criteria. Candidates must have the ability to work flexible hours with varying start times. Background policy requires disclosure of any hits or DUIs prior to submission. Return staff policy: staff must be away for one year to return as a traveler. Modules are non-billable, with an average of 1-5 hours spent on modules factored into non-billable hours.
