direction of the Cardiologist, Radiologist, Surgeon, or
Director-CVS provides nursing support and nursing processes
including patient assessment and intervention during Invasive
Interventional Radiology and invasive Cardiac Cath Lab procedures.
Provides direct patient care during the pre-procedural,
intra-procedural, and post-procedural phases. Performs, and is
responsible for a variety of nursing functions within the
Cardiovascular Services (CVS) Department including invasive and
non-invasive cardiology; and patient holding areas. Other duties as
