Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity
is ideal for an occupational therapist with a strong background in
school-based settings, particularly those who have experience
managing an elementary caseload. The role is based in Salinas, CA,
serving students across elementary schools, with potential
interaction spanning early childhood through middle and high school
environments. Key Responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy
services to students in an elementary school setting, addressing
individual needs and promoting developmental progress. Collaborate
with educators, families, and support staff to create effective
therapy plans tailored to each student. Conduct assessments,
document student progress, and adjust interventions accordingly.
Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and
contribute clinical expertise to support student success.
Qualifications: Licensed Occupational Therapist with current state
certification. Demonstrated school-based experience, with a focus
on elementary caseload management. Strong understanding of
pediatric developmental milestones and school environment dynamics.
Effective communication skills for collaboration with
multidisciplinary teams and families. Location: Salinas, California
