Job Description Physician (Family Practice/Internal Medicine)- Greater Sacramento, CA Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday–Friday | Day Shift Setting: Community Health / Outpatient Clinic Position Overview We are seeking a Family Practice or Internal Medicine Physician to join a mission-driven outpatient clinic serving diverse and underserved patient populations. This role is ideal for a physician passionate about community health, preventive care, and delivering high-quality primary care in a collaborative clinical environment. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary care services, including history-taking, physical exams, diagnosis, and treatment planning Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic studies Prescribe and manage medications in accordance with evidence-based standards Deliver preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute care services Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up care Manage clinical documentation, in-basket messages, refills, and lab results on time Patient Volume Average 3 patients per hour (20-minute visits) Includes 2 telehealth visits per day Dedicated administrative/charting time daily Charts completed within 72 hours EPIC EMR experience strongly preferred Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited U.S. medical school (or FMG with ECFMG certification) Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Active, unrestricted California medical license DEA and CPR certification required 1–2 years of experience in community health, FQHC, or underserved populations preferred Strong commitment to caring for low-income and diverse patient populations Experience with pediatric to adult primary care strongly preferred Familiarity with HRSA, HEDIS, PCMH, and quality metrics is a plus (preferred) Benefits: 403(b) retirement plan with up to 4% employer match (100% immediate vesting) Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance (individual & family plans available) Employer-funded Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) Flexible Spending Accounts (Health & Dependent Care) Company-paid Life & AD&D insurance Optional supplemental benefits (Critical Illness, Accident, Pet Insurance, ID Protection) 4 weeks PTO plus paid holidays Malpractice insurance with tail coverage If you're interested, please let me know a convenient time to connect, or feel free to call me directly at 469-290-8978 or email at divya.reddy@protouchstaffing.com
