Job DescriptionAs a Front Desk Agent, you will be the guests'
first point of connection as they enter the hotel. Throughout their
stay, you will have the opportunity to build lasting impressions
that we hope will result in guest loyalty. You can achieve this by
handling all questions, requests, and complaints promptly and
courteously. With your outgoing personality and ability to connect
with others we rely on you to create memorable guest experiences
with each guest. Whatever the reason for their stay is, you play a
key role in exceeding their expectations. Going above & beyond is

Front Office Manager or General ManagerDuties/Responsibilities:The
following reflects the essential duties for this job but does not
restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign or
reassign duties and responsibilities of this job at any time. To
perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to
perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable
accommodations. These are a few responsiblites:Checking guests in
and out of the hotel efficiently, in a courteous and professional
manner. Reconcile daily activities and close all necessary
accounts. Manage and resolve all guest complaints and compliments
in a professional and courteous manner. Learn the property systems
and be able to navigate the system quickly and efficiently
including running reports and distribute accordingly.Follow and
process proper cash/check/credit card/AR control procedures always
using proper guidelines and security. Maintain responsibility and
proper security over cash and deposits at all timeFollow requests
by Sales Department for up-selling, marketing packages, etc.
Answering the telephone and e-mails in a timely & professional
manner. We want our guests to hear/read your smile. Calls must be
answered by the third ring. Must have the ability to multi-task in
a fast pace environment.Professional in presentation and
demeanorSafety: Stay safe all the time. Safety awareness always
follows and champions the property established safety
procedures.Report all incidents and wear any protective gear needed
and required.Always keep the Front Office and Foyer area clean and
safe Upon employment, all employees are required to fully comply
with company rules and regulations for the safe and efficient
operation of hotel facilities. Employees who violate Hotel and
Company rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary
action, up to and including termination of employment.Literate and
tech-savvy - you will need a good grasp of reading, writing, basic
maths and computersOther Duties:Ability to work a flexible
schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, according to
the hotel and business needs dictate.Due to the cyclical nature of
the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying
schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. Physical
Requirements:Ability to work on a computer for extended periods of
time (maximum 5 hours at a time, 8 hours in total/day)Ability to
stand for long periods of time (maximum of 5 hours at a time, 8
hours total a day)Ability to speak and hear on a phone within a
shared workspaceMust be able to handle stress, from Guests,
Employees, and Vendors.Able to clearly communicate to employees,
guests, vendors, Corporate Executives through written, verbal, and
