Job Description Job Description Akkodis is seeking a Software Engineer III for a Contract with a client in Cupertino, CA. The ideal candidate must have strong experience designing scalable microservices and distributed data platforms. Rate Range: $70/hour to 74/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Software Engineer III job responsibilities include: Design and implement scalable, low-latency microservices for high-volume ad-serving systems in cloud environments. Collaborate cross-functionally to support indexing, search, and real-time ad selection capabilities. Build secure, distributed data processing systems using technologies like Kafka, Spark, or Flink. Optimize system performance and reliability while ensuring user privacy and data integrity. Contribute to architectural decisions and mentor junior engineers in best practices and problem-solving. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field. Minimum 2 years of industry experience in building scalable microservices or data-driven platforms. Proficiency in data processing technologies such as Kafka, Spark, or Flink. Experience designing and implementing secure, scalable systems in cloud environments (e.g., AWS).
