One of our direct client is urgently looking for a Software DevOps Engineer (Production Support) @ Sunnyvale, CA TITLE:Software DevOps Engineer (Production Support) LOCATION: Sunnyvale CA Duration: 6 to 12 Months Rate: DOE Description: The Software Engineer DevOps position will be responsible for hands-on production support and DevOps related responsibilities. Will be at the forefront of being accountable and responsible for ensuring the various applications are up and running to provide the best customer experience for customers who are shopping on walmart.com. Areas of responsibility include: - Involved in application health and stability uptime and resolution - Experience in Order management and Fulfillment areas service and application layer. - Good experience on Java - Database experience on both sql and no sql Db’s. - Experience on alert frameworks - creating and turning - Good Knowledge on Sterling is a plus - Good experience Analytics - Alerting and Monitoring Subject Mater Expert (Splunk,Logstash, and other Enterprise Logging Tools) - Application development and root cause analysis to help solve incidents - Experience in driving high availability across multiple applications - Partners with architects and development leads to come up with high level design - Pro-Actively identifies areas to drive automation across ecommerce platform · Troubleshoots business and production issues · Creating new production “like” test environments Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Information Systems - 7 years of experience in eCommerce Software Devops or SRE related experience - 5 years of experience with Alerting and Monitoring frameworks - 4 years of DBs experience - 4 years of experience with order management and transactional systems - 2 years of experience in agile ways of working in a distributed geographical model Additional Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline
