Job Description Job Description Position Overview As a Test Technician, you will play a vital role in the Test Department by performing hydrostatic and pneumatic testing on all pressure vessels and assemblies. This position requires strict adherence to safety procedures, attention to detail, and the ability to follow established test standards. Job Responsibilities Perform hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing on pressure vessels and assemblies in accordance with company procedures and applicable codes. Set up and operate test equipment including pumps, gauges, hoses, valves, and regulators. Verify test pressures, hold times, and acceptance criteria per drawings and test documentation. Inspect vessels and assemblies for leaks or nonconformances during testing. Accurately complete test reports and required quality documentation. Maintain test equipment and ensure the test area remains clean and organized. Follow all safety procedures related to high-pressure testing. Work collaboratively with production and quality teams to support manufacturing schedules. Job Requirements Ability to read and understand drawings, specifications, and test procedures. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality. Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Physical Requirements Ability to safely perform all essential job duties. Lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform tasks involving bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling. Stand for extended periods during work shifts.
