Job Description:

Pay Range:-- $19.60 to $22.00 per hourPurpose of position:To assist and support the R&D documentation and labeling function. This position will document specifications including updating and issuing specification for ingredients and finished products of all company SKU s. The position will deal with sensitive information about label specifications. Completing the document specification and labels will require accuracy and completion in a timely manner. The position will work with R&D, Marketing and Operations to create in house generated labels using the Blade and other systems. Position will assemble label transmittal information for approval by their supervisor.Essential Job Functions:Complete, document and issue new and modified ingredient, raw material and finished product specificationsCreate and develop product labels in Blade or other internal label creation software and ensure all the information is accurateAssemble and coordinate label transmittals including product formulation documentation for approval by superiorVerify labels/ingredient statements for accuracy to specificationMaintain and keep accurate active label approval files for all plantsAdditional Functions:Maintain activity logs and track projectsRequirements:High School graduate, some college, Bachelors degree preferred in Food Science or BusinessAbility to organize, coordinate and implement complicated product changesPrefer basic knowledge of USDA labeling requirements and regulations or have the ability to learn information quicklyStrong PC skill including Word, Excel, and SAP--Must have a high degree of organization and prioritization skillsKnowledge of internal (Blade and Marel) label system
