    Nelson-Jameson Inc., a leading wide-line supplier to the food processing industry for 75 years, is seeking a motivated Outside Core Account Manager to grow its Northcentral California sales territory. This dynamic position performs hunting and farming of core accounts in a territory anchored by our regional warehouse in Turlock, CA. As a member of the Core Accounts Team, you will join a fast-paced, competitive and entrepreneurial selling environment where revenue growth is rewarded and earning potential is unlimited.Responsibilities:
    • Joint responsibility with an Inside Core Account Manager for an established account roster located in Northcentral California.
    • Drive profitability and revenue growth for assigned accounts.
    • Maintain consistent and meaningful frequency of customer touches throughout territory.
    • Weekly site visits to support managed inventory programs at key accounts.
    • Establish and expand relationships with key executives and decision makers within each assigned account.
    • Utilize robust sales reporting tools and dashboards to uncover profitable growth opportunities.
    • Demonstrate ability to close sales and overcome customer objections.
    • Communicate Nelson-Jameson's value proposition as a strategic advantage to customers.
    • Develop and maintain exceptional consultative relationships with customers.
    • Engage internal technical resources to provide complex product solutions to customers.
    • Work closely with the Sales Manager on strategic account planning and sales skills development.
    • Represent Nelson-Jameson's values and principles.Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications
      • 2 years of B2B Outside Sales or Food Manufacturing experience.
      • Passion for serving customers in a timely manner.
      • Proven territory farming and account development skills (if background is in Sales).
      • Extraordinary attention to detail.
      • Strong organization and time management skills.
      • Ability to multitask.
      • Effective communication skills.
      • Willingness to accept coaching.
      • Proficient with ERP, CRM, Microsoft Office and basic computer knowledge.
      • High School diploma or equivalent.
      • Primary residence in assigned territory.
      • Valid driver's license.Preferred Qualifications
        • Distributor or manufacturer experience selling to industrial food or other sanitary manufacturing facilities; OR production experience working in industrial food or other sanitary manufacturing facilities.
        • Solutions driven with a strong sense of urgency.
        • A strong team player who can work closely with internal assets to provide optimized customer solutions.
        • Bilingual in English and Spanish
        • Previous experience with any of the following industrial product lines:
          • Laboratory instruments, Quality Assurance(QA), and Quality Control (QC)
          • Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO)
          • Safety and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
          • Sanitation and Janitorial products
          • Production and Material Handling products
          • Sanitary Process and Flow Control Systems
          • Industrial or Food Grade Packaging
          • Food Ingredients
          • Experience using ERP software for order entry, inventory/transaction management, and CRM functions.Nelson-Jameson Offers:
